The band's three main concerts are held at
Avondale United Church, 194 Avondale Avenue at 3pm Tickets are: $15 Adults, $5 Students, 11 & Under Free In Rememberance: D-Day 10 November 2018 The year 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of D-Day. On June 6, 1944, Allied forces began an offensive on the north shore of France that would signal the beginning of the end of World War II. We will pay special tribute to this event, and to the men and women who were involved. We are pleased to welcome our special guest, organist Thomas Fitches. Patchwork 23 February 2020 There is such a wide repertoire of music for concert band in many different styles. We have chosen music for this concert that runs the gamut from serious to comical, classical to modern, and even movies and musicals. We are also very excited to feature some small groups and soloists from within the band! The Colors of the Winds 3 May 2020 Whether we are listening to Bach or the blues, our brains are wired to make music-colour connections. Colours are sometimes used to describe different styles of music, and some people can actually see different colours when they listen to music. Join us as we play music based on colours and named after colours |
