![]() Meet Nancy! I joined SCB in 2005. I play in the flute section alongside my good friend Mandie Hann. I am a retired secondary school English/Drama/Dance/Philosophy teacher. Strange as it may seem, my undergraduate degree was actually in Music. Waltz No. 2 from Shostakovich 2nd Jazz Suite is seriously fun to play and impossible to sit still while doing so. However, my truly favourite piece is Mark Camphouse's Symphonic Prelude: The Cemetery at Colville-sur-mer. In fact, there is so much beautiful music that we have played on our Remembrance Day concerts, that if you were to ask me tomorrow, I might make a different choice. I really enjoying playing in this band. It's both fun and challenging. You can't beat that!

Hi Paul. I'd be happy to talk to you about our Allward project. We're now in the final stages of a webpage devoted to the Stratford Allward Memorial which will be published on the Perth Archives site by this fall.
