Becoming a Member

The Stratford Concert Band is proudly a true community band. Among its 50 or so members are professional musicians, retirees, high-school students, musicians with years of formal training and those who are basically self- taught.

The band performs many pieces of various difficulty level in the course of a season.  If you are comfortable playing Holst or Granger (note - you won't see Instant Concert in our folders!), and you like a challenge, then perhaps the SCB is for you.

If you play a wind instrument or percussion, and would like to become a member of the band, please email us or contact the band’s conductor, Nigel Evans, at (519) 673-3594. The band rehearses on Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:45.
